With a smooth top surface and a mesh, Eucaboard is a eucalyptus hardboard recommended for the manufacturing of residential furniture, bottom of drawers and backside of furniture and for the lining of walls of commercial offices.

Transportation and Handling

  • Pallets must be transported with forklifts or similar equipment, to avoid damaging edges of sheets;
  • The floor of the body of the transporting truck must be clean, dry, even and without nails and screws sticking out or with overlapping boards. Gaps, if any , must be sealed;
  • During  transportation, Eucatex hardboard sheets must be protected with a tarpaulin;
  • The stacks must be blocked and supported by fastening ropes or flat cables. The areas of the sheets which are under pressure of these ropes/ cables should also be protected by angle plates or plastic wedges;
  • Sheets must be handled carefully and should not be dragged or under  any type of friction during  unloading.

Storage

  • The product must be kept in its original packaging, in a place free of moisture, ventilated and protected from the action of the sun and rain;
  • Sheets must be stacked horizontally, on a flat and level platform. Avoid stacking sheets of different dimensions;
  • The maximum stacking allowed is 6 meters high;
  • Avoid contact of sheets with products which may alter their natural features, such as grease, oil and cement. It is also advisable not to place hard objects on the sheets, such as metals, concrete and wood.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  •  Eucatex hardboard should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or slightly moistened with water and neutral soap;
  • Do not use such abrasive products, as soap, steel sponges, etc.
