With excellent surface resistance to abrasion, impacts, scratches and staining agents, Formidur LPL is a eucalyptus based hardboard top coated with melamine thermal fused with short cycle press with low pressure. With  a frost texture finish. It is recommended for the manufacturing kitchen parts, office and computer furniture, and it can also be used as internal lining for coach or bus bodywork.

Transportation and Handling

  • The pallets must be transported with forklifts or similar equipment, to avoid damaging edges of sheets. boards;
  • The floor of the body of the transporting truck must be clean, dry, even and without nails and screws sticking out or  with overlapping boards. Gaps, if any, must be sealed;
  • During the transportation, sheets must be protected with a waterproof  tarpaulin;
  • Stacks must be blocked and supported by fastening ropes or flat cables. The areas of the sheets under pressure of these cables/ropes should also be protected by angle plates or plastic wedges;
  • Sheets must be handled carefully to avoid being dragged or undergoing any type of friction  during unloading.

Storage

  • Product  must be kept in its original packaging, in a  moisture free , ventilated and protected from the sun and rain;
  • Sheets must be stacked horizontally, on a flat and level platform. Avoid stacking sheets of different dimensions;
  • The maximum stacking allowed is 6 meters high;
  • Avoid contact of the sheets with products which may alter their natural features, such as grease, oil and cement. It is also advisable not to place hard objects on the sheets, such as metals, concrete and wood.
