Used a basis of shrink wrapped bottles of  mineral water, fruit juice, soft drinks, grain, oil, plastics and  as a protection for glazed material , Eucaboard Separator is a eucalyptus hardboard in small dimensions with rounded edges to facilitate the application of stretch or Shrink polythene wrapping films.

Transportation and Handling

  • Pallets must be transported with forklifts or similar equipment, to avoid damaging the edges of the sheets;
  • The floor of the body of the transporting truck must be clean, dry, even and without nails and screws sticking out or with overlapping boards. Gaps, if any,  must be sealed;
  • During the transportation, sheets must be protected with a waterproof  tarpaulin;
  • Stacks must be blocked and supported by fastening ropes or cables. The areas of the sheets which are under pressure of these cables/ropes should also be protected by angle plates or plastic wedges;
  • Sheets must be handled carefully to avoid  being dragged or undergoing any type of friction during unloading.

 Storage

  • Product  must be kept in its original packaging, in a moisture free place, ventilated and protected from the  sun and rain;
  • Sheets must be stacked horizontally, on a flat and level platform. Avoid stacking sheets of different dimensions;
  • The maximum stacking allowed is 6 meters high;
  • Avoid contact of the sheets with products which may alter their natural features, such as grease, oil and cement. It is also advisable not to place hard objects on the sheets,  such as metals, concrete and wood.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Eucatex hardboard  should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or one slightly moistened with water and neutral soap;
  • Do not use such abrasive products, as soap, steel sponges, etc.

  • It can be used in lines where products are palletized on a continuous basis.   
  • It can be reused several times thus reducing costs if compared with discarded separators.;
