Eucatex Gypsum & Drywall is a paint developed to apply directly on gypsum surfaces, without requiring a specific primer. It penetrates deeply in the gypsum and drywall, providing greater adherence and coverage. It performs as an agglutinate of the gypsum particles, avoiding peeling and protects from the yellowing caused by time. It can be applied on liquid gypsum, ordinary gypsum plates, drywall) and moldings. It has a matt finishing, quick drying and high durability and is easy to apply.

White. Other tones can be obtained adding liquid coloring. The color shown in the catalog has a slight variance of tonality compared with the final finishing, as it is paint deposited on paper. The luminosity of the ambience and the presence of other colors where the paint will be applied interfere with the perception of the color chosen. A color chosen in different products, and/or finishings (gloss, texture, etc.) may have a variance of tonality. For dyeing with conventional tubes use at most one tube of coloring per gallon of 3.6L.

Wool roller

  • To obtain a fine finishing on spackle or acrylic paste, we recommend using a wool roller with little thickness, the same as used for applying epoxy paint;
  • In painting or repainting where there are applications or touch-ups of putty  (acrylic putty or gypsum), different gloss differences can be noted after the application. This is due to the lack of uniformity in the absorption of the substratum. It is necessary to avoid this effect, and we recommend applying the product diluted by 30% with water only at the points which have had putty corrections;
  • Removal of dirt: in the place affected, use a soft cloth or sponge with neutral detergent. Then, clean with a moistened cloth. Perform the cleaning with smooth movements, only in the place affected to preserve the original finishing. In the case of deeper dirt this process may cause polishing of the paint film (difference of gloss), not affecting the resistance and durability;
  • Avoid isolated touch-ups after the paint has dried;
The practical yield can vary owing to the method of application, geometry of the structure, rugosity and absorption of the surface, thickness of the layer of the product deposited, atmospheric conditions and application techniques.
