It seals, impermeabilizes, eliminates microcracks and paints external surfaces (new and repainting) of plaster, concrete blocks and chutes, fiber cement tiles, acrylic paste, ceramic tiles and ceramic blocks (not vitrified). It offers excellent resistance to bad weather, preventing stains caused by fungi and mould, as well as the actions of nature, as UV rays, salty air and thermal variations.

Resin with a base of aqueous dispersion of elastomeric acrylic polymer, pigments free of heavy metals, inert mineral loads, additives and tensoactives.

Wool roller Paintbrush Flat paintbrush

  • To obtain a fine finishing on acrylic putty, use a wool roller of little thickness, the same as used for applying epoxy paint;
  • In painting or repainting where there are applications or touch-ups of putty (acrylic or mortar), different gloss differences can be noted after the application. This is due to the lack of uniformity in the absorption of the substratum. It is necessary to avoid this effect, and we recommend applying the product diluted by 30% with water only at the points which have paste corrections;
  • Removal of dirt: in the place affected, use a soft cloth or sponge with neutral detergent. Then, clean with a moistened cloth. Perform the cleaning with smooth movements, only in the place affected to preserve the original finishing. In the case of deeper dirt this process may cause polishing of the paint film (difference of gloss), not affecting the resistance and durability;
  • Avoid isolated touch-ups after the paint has dried;
  • The practical yield can vary owing to the method of application, geometry of the structure, rugosity and absorption of the surface, thickness of the layer of the product deposited, atmospheric conditions and application technique;
The product is indicated to cover microcracks of up to 0.2 mm wide. Larger openings are considered to be cracks and must be treated with other products specifically used for this purpose.

In accordance to ABNT NBR 13.245.

  • Preparation: the surface must be firm, cohesive, clean, dry, without dust, fatty materials, soap and mould.
  • Surfaces with loose flakes or coated in lime( whitewash ): they must be scraped off or brushed off until the complete removal of the paint residue. Then apply the Eucatex Wall-Preparing Undercoat, as indicated on the packaging.
  • Mould surfaces: wash them with a solution of water mixed with sanitary water in the proportion of 1:1, rinse them and wait for them to dry. This process is necessary to correct the possible causes of the mould being generated.
  • Surfaces with fatty stains: wash them with a solution of water and neutral detergent, rinse them and wait for them to dry.
  • New plaster: wait for the cure for at least 30 days. Apply the Eucatex Wall Impermeabilizer (5x1) directly on the plaster. If necessary level the surface, applying 2 or 3 coats of Eucatex Acrylic Paste.
  • Weak plaster (low cohesion): apply Eucatex Wall-Preparing Undercoat as recommended on the packaging and level the surface, applying 2 or 3 coats of Eucatex Acrylic Putty.
Repainting: surfaces already painted must be sanded until they are in the conditions described previously.
