Manufactured with the exclusive High Gloss Image Definition technology, it reproduces the visual effect of the solid color or wood grains, with unique depth and transparency on the top coated T-HDF panels. It is an alternative product to lacquer and glass. The water borne varnishes used in the finishing of the T-HDF board are UV (ultraviolet cured) and are highly resistant to abrasion, It is provided in beautiful wood grains and solid colors that match with MDF and MDP panels produced by Eucatex.

Applications

In furniture  and drawer bottoms of residential and commercial furniture, offices, hotels, in the manufacturing  of sturdy light weight thick hollow cored panels, in projects requiring surfaces  with reflection  so s to keep up with international trends.
In construction, it can be used in such several applications, as:  wall partitions, wall paneling, etc.

Finishing

The T-HDF Eucafibra Lacca AD is top coated with a special high gloss clear varnish. The backside has the same color face major.

Packaging

 T-HDF Eucafibra Lacca AD is supplied in pallets with quantities according to specific sizes and thicknesses requested.  Pallets are protected with dunnage on to and bottom, are corner blocked and steel strapped for safe handling. Panels may be supplied with a protective film on both faces on request.
 

Transportation and Handling

  • The pallets must be hoisted with forklifts or similar equipment, to avoid damages on the edges of the panels.
  • The floor of the body of the transporting truck must be clean, dry, even and without nails and screws sticking out or with overlapped  boards. Gaps, if any,   must be sealed. For greater safety, the stacks must be blocked and supported by ropes or cables. The areas of the panels which are pressed by these ropes should be protected by angle plates or plastic wedges.
  • During the route in a transporting truck with open bodywork, protect the product against rain with a waterproof e tarpaulin. Grain trucks must have the grain outlet closed to avoid rain during   journey.
  • Avoid panel excess, mainly when there is  no mechanized means of unloading (forklifts ). When unloading or moving panels, avoid dragging them and subjecting them to any sort of friction.
 

Storage

  • The storage must be done in a covered place, protected from weather and far from moisture and heat.
  • Panels must be stacked horizontally, on a firm, level base raised from the floor by means of suitable wedges. It is advisable that the maximum distance between the wedges be 50 cm.
  • Avoid alternative stacking of panels with great differences in dimensions. The maximum stacking must be 6 meters high.
  • Avoid placing hard objects (metals, concrete, wood ) on the panels or let them in contact with materials which may alter their natural features (grease, oil, cement, etc.).
  • Place a suitable number of wedges, increasing the quantity for panels which are not so thick.  Warning: the wedges must always have the same height, with a length equal to the width of the panels.
  • In hot places it is advisable to place a dunnage board on the stack, both in storage and movement during the processing, to reduce the effect of the heat which affects the surface of the material, so that no moisture is lost on the exposed surface which may cause imbalance, and warping of panel.
  • Avoid excessive storage time so as  to avoid panel deformation owing to gain or loss of moisture.
